Laura grew up in Wisconsin, where the snowy and cold winters meant she had to have a hobby. When her nose wasn’t into a book, she sewed clothes. After ten years of teaching, she became a full time caregiver for her husband and looked for a small business she could do. All those years of sewing made an easy transition to machine embroidery when she made custom hats for her golf group.  Now she has a business using creative designs on tote bags, tea towels, shirts, and hats.
